The University of Jordan (UJ) takes immense pride in its alumni who have risen to become presidents of various prestigious universities. UJ boasts an impressive array of alumni who have ascended to the prestigious role of president at various academic institutions and universities worldwide. Historically, 36 UJ alumni have become presidents of local and regional universities. These 36 distinguished individuals have carried forward the university's legacy of excellence, demonstrating remarkable leadership and academic prowess. Their journey from students at the University of Jordan to influential educational leaders exemplifies the high caliber of education and mentorship they received. These alumni have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also been instrumental in fostering educational growth and innovation at their institutions. Currently, UJ alumni are at the helm of numerous significant institutions, including the University of Jordan itself led by his excellency professor Nathir Obeidat, Yarmouk University led by Professor Islam Massad, Mutah University led by his excellency Professor Salameh Naimat, the German Jordanian University led by Professor Alaaldeen AL-Halhouli, the Middle East University by Professor Salam AL-Mahadin, Al Tafila Technical University led by Professor Bassam Mahasneh, Al-Hussein Technical University led by Professor Ismael AL-Hinti, the American University in Madaba led by Professor Mamoun Akroush, and An-Najah National University in Palestine led by Professor Rami Hamdallah. Additionally, UJ alumni have held presidencies at 14 private and governmental universities, including all governmental universities in Jordan.
