In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the fields of Computing, Informatics, Networking, and Cybersecurity, Springer recently published a book titled "Advances in Computing, Informatics, Networking and Cybersecurity - A Book Honoring Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat's Significant Scientific Contributions." This prestigious publication celebrates the impactful work of Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat, who is a Life Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of AAIA, FTRA, AIIA, and SCS.

Professor Obaidat is a Distinguished Honorary Professor at the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, The University of Jordan, and has served as the Past President and Chair of the Board of Directors of The Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS).

 

His remarkable achievements have earned him numerous accolades, including induction into the SCS Hall of Fame and the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Communication Software Technical Achievement Award for his contributions to Cybersecurity, Wireless Networks, and Computer Networks.

 

Recently, Professor Obaidat was ranked by ScholarGPS as the Top Lifetime Scholar in the World in Telecommunications Systems Management and the Top Scholar in Telecommunications in the World over the past five years. Additionally, research.com ranked him as the Number 1 researcher in Jordan in both Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

 

His extensive body of work includes over 1,200 refereed technical articles, over 110 books, and more than 70 book chapters. In 2024 alone, he published three influential books with renowned publishers:
