UJ Honors Dr. Omar Hatamleh by Inaugurating a Hall in His Name at the School of Engineering

​The University of Jordan has inaugurated a hall named after Dr. Omar Hatamleh at the School of Engineering, during an academic event attended by Dr. Hatamleh alongside His Excellency Professor Dr. Nathir Obeidat, President of the University, the Vice Presidents, the Dean of the School of Engineering, a num​ber of faculty and administrative members, and a large group of students. The event featured discussions on the rapid transformations driven by artificial intelligence and their impact on engineering education, scientific research, and the labor market.

Dr. Omar Hatamleh is one of the University of Jordan's distinguished alumni, with significant scientific and innovative contributions to the space sector and artificial intelligence applications. He has also held a leading position at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Naming the hall after him comes in recognition of his academic and scientific achievements and in support of a culture of excellence within the university.
