M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering
The Master of Science in Chemical Engineering is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in engineering disciplines (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Process Engineering) who wish to get a graduate degree in chemical engineering. The program consists of 33 credits hours. The core courses provide a more comprehensive foundation in chemical engineering principles (Transport phenomena, Thermodynamics, Reaction engineering, Engineering Mathematics, Mass Transfer, Biochemical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design). Furthermore, in the thesis dissertation students select a research advisor and area for specialization. The thesis may involve either theoretical or experimental investigations, or both. It can be of a limited scope but should involve a significant degree of originality.
