Prof. Ishaq Ahmed Farhan was born in AL Khalil in 1934. He earned the bachelor and master's degrees in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut in the years 1957 – 1958.

 

Also, he earned a masters degree and PhD in education from Columbia University where he studied from 1962 to 1964.

From 1964 to 1969, Prof. Farhan was the head of curriculum and books department in the Ministry of Education, the Director of Educational Services and a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Shari'a at the University of Jordan in Amman.

 

In addition, Prof. Ishaq served as the minister of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs .
