Prof. Abd AL-Kareem Khaleefah was born in 1924. He earned a bachelor degree in Arabic language from the High College of Teachers in Baghdad in 1946, a PhD in Arts from the Arabic language Department at The University of Paris in 1954.

 

Prof. Khaleefah worked in the Arabic language field from 1956 until 1963 then he was appointed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Jordan.

In 1966 Prof. Abd AL-Kareem was promoted to the rank of professor. After two years, he was appointed as the president of the university of Jordan until 1977.

 

Many significant books, published researches and French books were written or translated by Prof. Abd AL-Kareem Khaleefah .
